    Spine sketch

    Actors, artefacts, and the unofficial shortcuts. Produce a first current-state line without pretending it is complete.

  2. 02
    Evidence gathering

    Interview prompts, ticket sampling, and how to note contradictions without turning the map into a blame chart.

  3. 03
    Wait segments

    Separate touch time from queue time. Build the wait-segment sheet used across later critiques.

  4. 04
    Rework & exceptions

    Log loops and overrides. Attach simple rates that keep leadership from averaging them away.

  5. 05
    Analytics that serve the map

    Choose percentiles, batch effects, and capacity signals that illuminate friction — skip vanity funnels.

  6. 06
    Readout rehearsal

    Fifteen-minute briefing with a sceptical sponsor role-play. Leave with owners, experiments, and open questions.

FAQ

Practical limits

Do I need a BI tool already?

Spreadsheets are enough for the analytics modules. If you have a warehouse or BI stack, we will use exports — we will not migrate your stack.

Can I map a process I do not own?

Yes, but you need interview access. Without conversations, the map stays decorative.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not implement software changes or negotiate labour agreements. If your bottleneck is a contractual constraint or a missing integration budget, the studio will help you name it clearly — it will not remove it for you.

Are sessions recorded?

Live critiques are not published. Clinic primers may be recorded for your cohort only.
